At different times in our lives, we are more or less receptive to new ideas, new ways of looking at things.
I know that in my own life, there have been times when wild horses couldn't have torn me loose from a pattern of behavior -- even though I knew that behavior was keeping me stuck in a painful place! I absolutely was not ready to make a change!
But (thank Heaven!) there have been other times when I was so ready to move beyond "stuck", that I couldn't find guidance fast enough! I am so very grateful to the people who have shown up in my life at just the perfect time, who have given me the perfect boost of support I needed to push past the perceived obstacles. (And, of course, it was never as hard as I thought it would be.)
